the late work

Apply for the Founding Cohort — starts Wednesday, 01 July 2026

Enrollment in The Late Work is by application. A $500 deposit is required. The deposit comes first because the application questions are themselves the first piece of the work.

If you are accepted into the cohort, the deposit is credited against your enrollment fee. If you are not accepted, it is refunded in full within five working days. If you pay the deposit, see the questions, and decide not to submit answers, email me and the deposit is refunded in full. No explanation required.

Once your payment clears, you will receive the four application questions by email within a few minutes. Work on your answers in your own time and send them when you're ready. I read every application personally and respond within two days with either a place in the cohort, a fifteen-minute conversation, or a clean no and an explanation.
